Ceramic Grade I

It is a least expansion and distortion sand suitable for oil passage cores, oil channel cores, hollow camshaft, solenoid valve body, pneumatic valve body, hydraulic valve body, water cooled baring housing, diesel locomotive water jacket core (Wall Thickness of 2 mm).

Ceramic Grade II

It is a low expansion sand suitable for critical water jacket & block like Fiat water jacket & block, 6 cylinder blocks & water jacket core, Cummins water jacket. Caterpillar head (Wall thickness between 2.5mm- 4.5mm)

Raw Cerabeads Applications

We are blending cerabeads and supply to foundries to manufacture cores by CO,, cold box, alkyd, phenolic acid, phenolic ester & pepset process.

Advantages of our Grades for Steel & Ni Hard Castings

  • Import substitute grade for Alloy Steel Casting / Alloy Cast Iron/S.GIron
  • These grades were developed by us for Steel Casting and Ni Hard Castings which was previously imported from England Germany Spain & Japan
  • The ejection of the moulds is smooth
  • There are no sub-surface cracks in the mould
  • Surface finish of the mould and casting is good
  • Excellent flowability of the sand with good compactness, built up & no peel back
  • During pouring it withstands thermal shock which prevents the mould from cracking
  • Low nitrogen content
  • By using our special grade no surface grinding is required since the S cast finish is very good
  • It is used for steam traps, valve bodies upto 70 kgs, anchors, liners, buffers, stopper & block, impellers, track links, tooth points etc.
